HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNTS
The credit union now offers Health Savings Accounts(HSA). An HSA is an account that you can put money into to save for future medical expenses. There are certain advantages to putting money into these accounts, including favorable tax treatment.

The advantages of an HSA are:

  • Security - Your high deductible insurance and HSA protect you against high or unexpected medical bills.
  • Affordability - You should be able to lower your health insurance premiums by switching to health insurance coverage with a higher deductible.
  • Ownership - Funds remain in the account from year to year, just like an IRA. There are no use it or lose it rules for HSAs.
  • Tax Savings - An HSA provides you triple tax savings; tax deductions when you contribute to your account; tax-free earnings on the account; and tax-free withdrawls for qualified medical expenses.

    • NEW ATM LOCATION
    The credit union has a new ATM location. The new ATM is located in the Walgreen's Drug Store at 2229 S Main St, Fort Scott, KS 66701. Credit union members (with KTCCU's Visa Debit or ATM cards) may use this machine, without having to pay a surcharge fee.

    The branch has a drive-up window; an ATM located in the Walgreen's Drug Store, and offers all the services currently available in the Pittsburg office.

    VEHICLE LOAN RATES
    Check out the credit union's vehicle loan rates. We offer the lowest rates in the area, with rates as low as 5.45% Annual Percentage Rate on vehicles with 35,000 miles or less.The interest rate may vary depending on your credit qualifications.

    We can finance up to 125% of the NADA Retail Value of the vehicle. And if you set up an automatic payment, we will lower your rate by .25%.
