Frequently Asked Questions

KTCCU stands for Kansas Teachers Community Credit Union, a not-for-profit financial cooperative serving members since 1949.

A credit union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members. Instead of paying profits to shareholders, credit unions return earnings to members through lower loan rates, higher savings returns, and community support.

Being a KTCCU member means you’re more than a customer — you’re an owner. Members have a voice in the credit union, benefit from lower loan rates and higher savings returns, and enjoy personalized service and community support.

You are eligible for membership if you live or work in one of the 51 Kansas counties we serve, live within 100 miles of Pittsburg, are a Kansas teacher statewide, are an employee of KTCCU, or are a family member or organization of a current member. Visit Membership Eligibility to learn more.
